During a telephone interview with the “Al-Hekaya” program, Wageeh told host Amr Adeeb that Egypt received the first batch purifiers two days ago, becoming the first country in the world outside Japan to use them. Wageeh explained that the devices employs photocatalysis by using a titanium dioxide filter, which works to inactivate the virus.
