ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Local business and political leaders gathered Thursday morning for the annual legislative breakfast hosted by the Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce at the Rochester Riverside Convention Center.
Bob Duffy, president and CEO of the chamber, unveiled the chamber’s 2026 advocacy agenda and outlined key priorities for the upcoming legislative session. Duffy said the chamber’s top priority is supporting small businesses.
“Small businesses are the backbone of our economy … every dollar counts for a small business,” Duffy said.
“New York has a very strict regulatory environment. It did not happen overnight and we’re working very hard to chip away at that,” he said.
Wegmans CEO Colleen Wegman and Foodlink CEO Julia Tedesco were also honored at the breakfast, receiving the chamber’s Community Stewardship Awards for their leadership and service.
