Brooks Nader just revealed when she started using other people's toothbrushes.
During an appearance on Summer House's Paige DeSorbo's Amazon Live show on Tuesday, Jan. 13, the Sports Illustrated model revealed she picked up the habit while married to her ex-husband Billy Haire.
"I brush my teeth three times a day. I do. I brush my teeth. I don't have bad dental hygiene. I just don't use my toothbrush," Brooks explained. "This all started, I was previously married. I always just kind of, out of convenience, used his toothbrush."
"And then, whenever I got divorced ... My sisters would come over and stay with me, like, at the very beginning, and I would be like, 'Bring your toothbrush,' and they'd be like, 'Why? Why do you bring that up?' And I'm like, "Just, it's easier to pack all your toiletries,'" the model continued.
"And then, if they wouldn't bring the toothbrush, I'd be like, 'Go back home and get the toothbrush. Just trust me, you want your toothbrush here,'" she added. "They're like, 'What is wrong with this creep?' So then I would quickly use their toothbrush whenever they were away. I didn't actually think it was a huge deal. I thought it was kind of normal."
Brooks and Haire were married from 2019 to 2024. Haire recently announced his engagement to Southern Charm star Naomie Olindo in December 2025.

Brooks first revealed the controversial habit in September during an episode of her Hulu reality show Love Thy Nader, which she stars in alongside her sisters Mary Holland, Grace Ann, and Sarah Jane.
“I don’t buy toothbrushes,” Brooks said after using her sister Grace Ann‘s toothbrush to brush her teeth. “I like using other people’s.”
“I used to only use Gleb [Savchenko’s],” she added, referencing her ex-boyfriend and former Dancing With The Stars partner. “And I haven’t bought one since we broke up.”
Brooks continued, “It’s like this weird thing that I hold on to in relationships. Like, I don’t want my own toothbrush. I don’t even want to have that conversation. I just want to use whoever I’m with’s.”
She admitted to trying all of her sisters’ toothbrushes, before revealing that Grace Ann’s was the best.
“That pink electric toothbrush is solid,” she said.
As for Grace Ann, she said Brooks’ habit “really irks me” and she “can’t even think about it.”
“Am I ever gonna get laid again after that?” Brooks joked after confessing her toothbrush secret. “People are going to be so grossed out by me. I’m scared.”
