Full House star Candace Cameron Bure recently made a bold confession about he "low lows" in her marriage with husband Valeri Bure.
On the Monday, Jan. 13 episode of The Candace Cameron Bure Podcast, the Great American Family actress, 49, opened up about her relationship. She and her retired pro hockey player spouse, 51, have been married since 1996 and share three children: Natasha Bure, 27, Lev Bure, 25, and Maksim Bure, 23.

"It's definitely been a roller coaster," Cameron Bure admitted ahead of her and Val's 30th anniversary in June. "Lots of highs and there have been some really low lows. And I know that during some of those low times—I wouldn't even say it's low, you're just kind of like sitting in the shallow of the valley, where you're like, 'This isn't the best, but that's just life. We'll just kind of go through it'—and again, you just feel stuck."
That's when the former Hallmark star confessed, "We either didn't have the confidence or just the straight-up, like, courage to be honest enough with each other to say the really hard things. Because I know they're going to hurt your feelings, and I know you're going to hurt my feelings by hearing it, by saying it."
She added, "Those have been stuck moments in my life. And then sometimes you've got to reach the pit to get pulled out of it and kind of hit the bottom of that."

In a July episode of her podcast, Cameron Bure revealed that there was a point in her marriage when she didn't know if she and her husband would last.
“Val and I went through a really, really rough season in our marriage. And we were like, ‘I don’t know, don’t think…we’re gonna make it through,'” she shared. "But at one point, Lev preached a 45-minute sermon on marriage to us."
On her and Val's 29th wedding anniversary, the former actress behind DJ Tanner shared a carousel of photos of them through the years to mark the milestone.
