While making an appearance on the Soapy podcast hosted by soap opera alums Greg Rikaart and Rebecca Budig, Lucci dropped an unexpected revelation about the long-awaited return of All My Children, claiming that the possibility is "bubbling as we speak."
While asking Lucci what she knows about a potential return, Rikaart said the idea seems to have been "bubbling" for some time, which Lucci confirmed, "Yes, it's been bubbling for several years."
"Just when I think it probably isn't bubbling anymore, it's bubbling," Lucci, 79, said, before adding, "It's bubbling as we speak."

Budig joined All My Children in 1998, while Lucci had been with the show since it began in 1970. The show eventually ended in 2011 after 40 years on air.
