Connor Storrie just revealed when Heated Rivalry Season 2 will begin filming, leaving fans of the spicy hockey romance series declaring they "can't wait."
On Wednesday, Jan. 14, the actor who played Ilya Rosenoff in the HBO Max adaptation of Rachel Reid‘s book of the same name was featured on Today. The show, based on the author's Game Changers series, also stars Hudson Williams as Shane Hollander.

While speaking with Craig Melvin on Today, Storrie, 25, dished on when production will begin for Heated Rivalry's second season.
"Fans of the series, fear not: It's coming back for Season 2," Melvin, 46, said before turning to Storrie and asking, "Where are we now in that process?"
"I think Jacob [Tierney]'s still writing it," the breakout star admitted. "We're going to be filming, I think, soon. I don't know when, exactly."
After Melvin pressed, "'Soon,' as in this summer, do you think?" Storrie shared, "Yeah, I think about then." The Today anchor then pointed out, "You just made a lot of folks very excited."

In a clip of the news shared on Today's Instagram grid, Heated Rivalry fans rejoiced over the news that filming would be underway this year.
