ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A 58-year-old woman was found shot Tuesday night on Hudson Avenue. She is expected to survive.
Rochester Police officers responded at about 9:54 a.m. to Hudson Avenue for the report of a shooting. They found the woman, a Rochester resident, who had been shot at least once in the upper body. She was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital, where her injuries were determined not to be life-threatening.
No suspect is currently in custody. The investigation is ongoing as detectives work to determine what happened. Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
