80s Punk Rock Icons Announce 2026 Tour Dates Featuring Special Guests

Sometimes going to a one-night concert just isn't enough music for diehard fans. That's why Little Steven's Underground Garage Cruise was such a huge hit last year...and why it's coming back again in 2026 for another rock and roll adventure on the high seas, with returning headliners Social Distortion leading the way.

From April 3 to 7, the Norwegian Pearl will sail from Miami to Cozumel with an all-star lineup of acts including Jesse Malin, Buzzcocks, The Raveonettes, Redd Kross, Marky Ramone plays The Ramones, and lots of others. Plus, fans can also check out SiriusXM Sessions at Sea tapings, autograph signings, theme nights, an onboard merch store, a tattoo parlor, and many more sun-drenched activities.

Commenters on Social Distortion's Instagram post advertising the event seemed more than ready to pack their bags.

"It was about time! After seeing SD will play We just booked again for 2026! Going to have a blast! Yes!!!!" wrote one excited fan, with a second adding, "Woo hoo!" and a third saying, "Looks incredible!"

According to the official website for the cruise, the ship includes some pretty amazing features, from 10 different restaurants and eight bars to a casino, spa, gym, hoops court, and more. Plus, the island of Cozumel offers vacationers the opportunity to fish, snorkel, swim, dive, and explore local sites and shopping.

Social Distortion has a new album coming out this year

2026 is looking to be a busy year for Social Distortion. In addition to the cruise (and a number of other tour dates), the band confirmed last month that a new album is on the way — which is a pretty big deal considering lead singer Mike Ness was diagnosed with tonsil cancer in 2023.

In a recent update on his recovery, per Blabbermouth, Ness admitted he was "afraid I was not gonna live."

"I've been through some hard things in my life in some dangerous situations, as you can imagine, but nothing like that," he continued, adding, "I had to learn to eat, swallow — everything. I mean, they went in there — they sent a robot. I call him Ike, the robot. He went down and cut out my tonsil and the tumor. And then the second part of the surgery was, they slit my neck and cut the lymph nodes out. So I could not eat food. I mean, I came out of surgery with a drain and a feeding tube."

After everything Ness has been through, it sounds like a cruise to the tropics could be just what the doctor ordered.
