Trapilo went down with a ruptured patellar tendon late in the fourth quarter of Saturday’s victory against Green Bay. The rookie hobbled off the field under his own power, which saved the Bears from losing a timeout. Trapilo played in 14 regular-season games and made six starts at left tackle. In his time on the field, Reeves-Maybin was in on eight defensive snaps in addition to the 20 special teams snaps. Reeves-Maybin figures to continue in his role as a top special teams contributor and could chip in as a depth linebacker.
