Auburn announced on Tuesday that it will hold a traditional spring game to launch the Alex Golesh era on the Plains, with tickets for the A-Day Game going on sale on Feb. 3.
The spring game that will be held in a “traditional spring game format,” according to the school, will take place on Saturday, April 18 at historic Jordan-Hare Stadium. In the aftermath of the spring of 2025, when so many major college programs went away from the traditional spring game format, Auburn will be presenting the whole spring football game experience to its fans in that traditional manner which preceded those 2025 alterations.
But the actual spring football game will only be part of the experience for Auburn fans, with the school also announcing that there will be “nine days of action” called “A-Day Week” on the Plains. Those nine fun-filled days for the Auburn Family will begin on April 10 and lead up to the spring game on the 18th, according to the school.
Multiple sports will be featured during “A-Day Week,” followed by the first spring game of the Golesh era as the former South Florida head coach takes over the program in 2026.
The spring football game will kick off at 2 p.m. Auburn time on April 18, giving Tigers fans their first glimpse of the 2026 team. The game might be in the middle of April, but that doesn’t mean all the traditional gameday ingredients won’t be on display for fans that day. There will be Tiger Walk before kickoff, just like in the fall, and the Auburn marching band will also be on hand for the whole experience.
A big added perk of the spring game experience will happen after the game is over, when Auburn players will be available to sign autographs on the field.
The details on the broadcast for the A-Day Game will be announced at a later date, according to the school.
