ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Rochester Police say the third officer that was shot on Chili Avenue on Dec. 19 has been released from the hospital.
Police say 38-year-old Eric Davis shot at three RPD officers. Bodycam footage shows officers approaching Davis, where he then starts to shoot at them.

All three of the officers shot were brought to Strong Memorial Hospital the night of the shooting. RPD isn’t releasing the names of the officers at this time, so they’re numbered.
Officer #1 was discharged the day after the shooting on Dec. 20. Officer #2 was discharged a few days after the shooting.
Davis was shot by a fourth officer, and died at the scene.
