ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Monroe County Executive Adam Bello announced this year’s Winterfest 2026. The annual fest takes place on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and includes free activities for everyone at Mendon Ponds Park.
The fest includes wagon rides from Heberle Stables, appearances by the Rochester Red Wings’ mascots such as Spikes and Mittsy, and a new interactive musical performance with Mister Green.
Monroe County’s Winterfest will also include hot cocoa races, which will begin at 10 a.m. from Stewart Lodge, consisting of a trail 5K, a road 5K, and a half-mile race for kids. For more information on the races and how to apply, click here.
“This year, we’re proud to expand our offerings introducing new vendors, food, activities, and performers. I encourage everyone to mark their calendars for this day of family fun,” County Executive Bello said.
