The redshirt sophomore Clark visited the University of Florida this past weekend, and Jon Sumrall and his team successfully secured the transfer.
Clark was originally recruited as a wide receiver out of high school. The Sacramento native was ranked as the No. 251 player from the state of California, according to 247Sports, before he committed to play at UCLA as a walk-on. During his time with the Bruins, Clark switched positions and became a defensive back.
He was ranked as the No. 131 cornerback in this year’s transfer rankings, according to 247Sports.

He totaled 23 tackles, 2 passes defended, and 1 forced fumble in his final year with the Bruins. He will be a solid depth piece for Sumrall in his first year with the Gators.
Clark will be a huge addition to the Florida defense, which has already lost 3 safeties to the transfer portal so far in Aaron Gates, Jordan Castell, and Josiah Davis.
