Fire Countrystar Jules Latimer (Eve) kicked off the New Year with some exciting relationship news.
Latimer’s fiancée, Kat Cunning, shared a carousel of photos to announce they got engaged. Taking to Instagram, Cunning posted a lengthy caption, written in a poetic style, to accompany the pictures from the proposal.

“This is the moment we got engaged. For the second time on this day and the third time to each other,” began the caption.
Cunning went on to share that New York holds a special meaning for the couple, detailing their "very first date" in the city after matching on an unnamed dating app, where they "audaciously order[ed] rabbit in the heat of summer" as part of a three-course meal.
"It left seeds in our teeth, and we left wishing for a flosser as much as we wished we had kissed,” she added.
Throughout her retelling of their relationship, it was revealed that Cunning and Latimer actually proposed to each other. The first took place over Labor Day, with Cunning popping the question to Latimer.
“You said yes to me over Labor Day weekend when I gave you a ring that encapsulates the sharp angles of your mind and the rabbit-hole arcs of your body," Cunning wrote. "A hot tub, a full moon, Dijon and I dropping to our knees under Joshua tree stars with Juli-cat watching from the Airbnb.”

The second proposal happened on Dec. 23, with Latimer getting down on one knee for Cunning.
“I said yes to you on December 23 on a yacht small enough to feel like an exoskeleton, paradise water so choppy you couldn’t tell if you were seasick or nervous," she recounted. "I said yes to the waves and the Tequila, the humpback whales diving, to the dirty dancing song you played over the speakers and the question you finally popped over open ocean under setting sun which looked like your finger paintings of my body."
She continued, "I said yes to a nap, yes to this dress, and yes when they told me to push a button, not knowing it would light up the sky, framing you on one knee with a single flosser in a ring box.”
Cunning opened up more about her love for Latimer and their engagement before ending the caption with, “Show some respect, ya’ll! We fianced!!!! #?.”

Latimer and Cunning have been dating for over two years. The Fire Country star shared a heartfelt anniversary message to her now fiancé back in July to celebrate their love story.
