After announcing another Oreo-themed Blizzard treat, the Oreo Snowdrift Blizzard Treat, as the January Blizzard of the month, the franchise revealed that it would be bringing back something savory and saucy to keep things balanced.

And the best part? It’s no longer a limited-time offering. The return makes the beloved flavor a permanent menu addition.
"You asked for it. Now it’s on the menu for good," Dairy Queen teased in the caption on social media, with the image revealing what fans were hoping for—the Parmesan Garlic Sauced and Tossed Chicken StripBasket.
The image also simply stated, "It's Back."

For those who aren't entirely sure what the hype is about, the Parmesan Garlic Sauced & Tossed Chicken Strip Basket first debuted as part of a limited-time lineup in March 2024, when DQ introduced the new Parmesan Garlic flavor alongside the returning Honey BBQ version. It was pulled from menus in the summer of 2024 and phased out completely by early 2025.

Per the announcement at the time, it featured 100 % all-white-meat chicken strips tossed in a creamy Parmesan Garlic sauce.
"Indulge in the rich and creamy sauce as it perfectly complements the subtle flavor of our chicken strips," the drool-worthy item was described on the DQ website.

"Both Sauced & Tossed Chicken Strip Baskets come complete with fries, Texas toast and choice of dipping sauce," the release noted of the basket option.
It's unclear if the flavor will become part of the fast food restaurant chain's $7 Meal Deal, which allows customers to choose between an original cheeseburger or Chicken Strips, alongside full-size regular fries and a drink, topped off with an indulgent sundae.
As of now, Chicken Strip Baskets are offered in Original and Honey BBQ, while other menu staples include a variety of Stackburgers and Pretzel Sticks with Zesty Queso.
