OAKLAND — A 16-year-old boy shot multiple times Saturday morning in East Oakland remained in critical condition Monday, authorities said.
The youth was found about 11:55 a.m. Saturday outside near the intersection of 83rd Avenue and Birch Street with at least three gunshot wounds, authorities said.
He lives in another area of East Oakland, authorities said.
A motive for the shooting remains under investigation. No arrests have been announced and no suspect description has been released.
