Susan Sullivan is best known for her roles on Falcon Crest and Dharma & Greg. But at 83, the actress is doing better than ever.
Sullivan rose to stardom as Maggie Channing on the hit ‘80s TV series Falcon Crest, which ran from 1981 to 1990 and chronicled the ups and downs of a wealthy family in wine country. She went on to earn raves in the role of Jenna Elfman's snobby mother-in-law on the '90s hit sitcomDharma & Greg. In more recent years, she starred alongside Nathan Fillion on Castle, and guest-starred on acclaimed series like Dead Like Me and The Kominsky Method.
The gray-haired beauty has faced a few health issues in recent years (more on that below), but we were struck by her natural beauty in recent photos shared to her social media account. Pictured celebrating the holidays and snuggled up in a cozy bathrobe, the bare-faced stunner looks absolutely incredible without a stitch of makeup.

While Sullivan has had a successful career in entertainment for several decades, she has faced several health challenges in recent years, including two cancer diagnoses. Last year, she described one of them as in remission, and the other as "muted."
“I've had a really, really fortunate time on this planet so far, and I want it to continue,” Sullivan told PEOPLE last year. “And when you turn 80, longing is not over. You turn 80, wishing to be seen as attractive and charming and win the room is not over. It’s all there.”
“What I really would like people to think about in their 80s is the game is still on and you're old, but you're still restless," she added.
After her physician noticed a swollen lymph node under her arm and suggested a biopsy during a routine mammogram in 2023, she was diagnosed with non-small cell lung cancer. After surgery, she was declared cancer-free. In January of 2025, she was diagnosed with lymphoma, which required chemotherapy.
“At first it was all right, but then when it started to be painful, to have that chemo was like burning hot liquid, going into your veins, and then your veins collapse and they can't find a vein,” she told the publication. “I wasn't quite the adventurous, smiling, positive creature. I was more, ‘F---, no, I'm not going back.’ ”
With her lymphoma now "muted," Sullivan is following the treatment advice of doctors and keeps herself healthy with a nutritious diet and regular exercise.
She Launched a New Web Soap Last Year
Back in October, Sullivan announced on X that she was creating and starring in a soap opera geared towards seniors. Titled What Friends Do: The Old & The Restless, the series reunited Sullivan with her Falcon Crest co-star David Selby.
"The web series centers on four friends who reside in a luxe, independent living community after starring on and off the stage. Although the cameras have ceased filming, the drama still continues," Daytime Confidential shared.
