Parade editors unearthed product listings showing the new items as available for just under $4 per box (each box includes four individually wrapped pouches), along with links to buy via Instacart and DoorDash.
So far, shoppers have found the two varieties in the freezer section at Kroger. They don't appear to be exclusive to any one retailer, as Amazon also has the item available with its old packaging.
After reviewing all the publicly available information, there do not appear to be any major differences between this new retail launch and the nostalgic favorite—aside from the updated packaging, which resembles its Mini Cinnis boxes and prominently features the iconic Pillsbury Doughboy. So they should, hopefully, taste exactly the same as fans remember.
According to a retailer's description, consumers have two options to enjoy the mini bagels: heat 'em up in the oven or microwave for a few minutes, or thaw them at room temperature for 90 minutes before serving—just don't bite into them frozen!
