BRIGHTON, N.Y. — The Brighton Bruins faced off against the Wayne Finger Lakes Panthers at the annual “Pink the Rink” charity hockey game at the Genesee Valley Ice Rink.
All proceeds from ticket and raffle sales will be donated to the Pluta Cancer Foundation.
Kiki Sessa, a woman who recently beat cancer in December, shared her story at the event.
“You need to go get your mammogram at 40! Very important and thankfully they caught it early and I was able to receive treatment immediately,” Sessa said. “I would like to send well wishes and love to all those struggling. We’re there with you.”
