SAN CARLOS — An investigation is underway into a home-invasion robbery early Friday in San Carlos, according to authorities.

The victim was not injured, and the suspect left the area on a bicycle, according to the sheriff’s office.
Deputies searched the area but did not find the suspect. The sheriff’s office said he was last seen wearing a black face mask, a dark-colored hoodie and light-colored pants.
Patrols in the area will be stepped up as the investigation continues, according to the sheriff’s office.
The sheriff’s office is asking residents in the area to check their home security systems for footage of a person riding a bicycle. Footage can be uploaded at sanmateocountyso.evidence.com/axon/community-request/public/2600219.
