BERGEN, N.Y. — Bergen firefighters battled a fire at a chicken coop Thursday morning, where they say several chickens died.
Crews were dispatched to Lyman Road in Bergen just before 5 a.m. Thursday. When crews got there, they found the coop fully engulfed in flames.
Crews say the coop was far enough from the residence that it helped prevent any additional damages or any extension of the fire.
