Rose Byrne may be up for a major award at the Golden Globes this weekend but her longtime partner Bobby Cannavale won't be by her side.
The If I Had Legs I'd Kick You actress is nominated for Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy at the ceremony on Sunday (Jan. 11) but unfortunately Cannavale will be across the country. During an appearance on The Tonight Show, Byrne explained the hilarious situation.
"You know what, Bobby can't come, which is such a bummer," Byrne shared on the show on Thursday night (Jan. 8). "He's going to a reptile expo in New Jersey."

While the trip to the reptile expo may seem a bit out of character, Byrne said it all has to do with their children, Rocco and Rafael.
"So, we're getting a bearded dragon," Byrne explained, adding that the reptile is native to Australia, much like the actress herself. Although she seemed trepidatious about feeding the animal live crickets, she shared that they're "gorgeous" creatures.
"This expo, like, is where everyone goes and it's the place to go and it's on the same day. It would be such a parent fail so we're doing it. And I'm on board for the dragon. It's gonna be great," Byrne said, adding that Cannavale is doing "God's work" by going to the expo with their sons.
But just because Cannavale won't be there doesn't mean Byrne will be alone! The actress says she's instead taking her "wonderful" brother George.
"He's very handsome. He looks likeRobert Pattinson meets Jacob Elordi so he always gets a lot of attention!" Byrne said. "So he's going to come support so it should be a lot of fun!"
