Due to production delays on Catch-22, Simon said the recording process behind the band's music was significantly disrupted, putting Simon & Garfunkel one step closer to dissolution.
"Everything got disrupted," Simon said of the film delays. "It was a recipe for the breakup of Simon and Garfunkel. It didn’t have the harmony of the friendship, that was broken."
