Universal Makes Epic Universe Easier (and Cheaper) to Visit in 2026

After months of waiting, Epic Universe fans can finally do the thing they’ve been planning for since the park was announced: park hop all three Universal parks without paying extra.

As of January 1, 2026, Universal Orlando Resort is officially allowing Epic Universe to be used as part of its Park-to-Park tickets—meaning guests with three-day or longer Park-to-Park passes can move freely between Epic Universe, Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure on the same day, as often as they like.

Universal hinted at this change last year, but now it’s live, and that’s a big deal for anyone who’s tried to plan an Orlando vacation around it. When Epic Universe opened in 2025, park access was sold as a standalone ticket, with single-day admission to Epic starting around $139 and climbing toward $199 on busier dates. Guests who wanted both Epic Universe and the original parks often ended up buying separate passes or adding expensive options just to visit more than one park.

Now, three-day or longer Park-to-Park tickets—which typically start around $379 for adults (with savings of up to $73 compared with buying separate days)—include Epic Universe on the same hop-as-you-like basis as the other parks for visits starting in 2026. For people planning vacations, that’s real savings: fewer separate ticket purchases, lower per-day costs and more flexibility.

It also means far more flexible itineraries. Visitors can rope-drop Epic Universe in the morning, head back to Islands of Adventure for VelociCoaster at night or bounce between parks based on wait times, weather or energy levels—something that simply wasn’t financially or logistically practical before.

There’s still some fine print. One-day Park-to-Park tickets don't include Epic Universe, two-day passes don't include the option to move freely between parks, and Annual Passholders remain on the outside looking in for now. Florida resident discounts apply to three-day tickets, but not necessarily to longer stays.

Still, for families and groups planning multi-day trips, this update could change the math in a good way. Epic Universe is no longer a stand-alone splurge or an all-or-nothing day. It’s now part of the broader Universal experience—and that makes planning easier, days more flexible and overall trips more cost-efficient.
