Transfer portal season is in full swing across college football, and LSU has seen a ton of turnover from its 2025 squad following the arrival of new head coach Lane Kiffin.

The Louisiana native transferred into LSU prior to the 2024 season and had a very productive first year with the Bayou Bengals before being limited to just 5 appearances in 2025 due to a lingering shoulder injury.
Now down to his final year of eligibility, Gilbert is on the move once again looking for the third and final stop of his collegiate career.
