Noah Wyle made a rare appearance with his wife, Sara Wells, and their two children, Auden and Owen, at the Season 2 premiere of The Pitt.
On Wednesday, Jan. 7, the actor behind Dr. Michael "Robby" Robinavitch in the beloved HBO Max medical drama walked the red carpet with his family.

Wyle rocked a chocolate brown suit with a cream-colored undershirt and tie for the occasion, held at the DGA Theater Complex in Los Angeles, Calif. Wells, meanwhile, rocked a golden gown with a metallic heart cutout that cinched her waist on the left side. Auden, 20, donned a long-sleeved, black, lace gown that was semi-sheer for the red-carpet event, as Owen, 23, opted for an all-black look.
The ER alum, 54, and Wells, 46, have been married since 2014. Previously, Wyle was married to Tracy Warbin from 1998 to 2009

As with Season 1, each episode covers an hour in the emergency room of Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Center. It takes place just shy of a year after the first season.
“We wanted it to be the amount of time it would have taken for [Patrick Ball’s character] Langdon to complete a rehab program—that put about nine or 10 months on it, that put us in summer,” Wyle told The Hollywood Reporter at the premiere. "ERs are notoriously busy on holiday weekends; Fourth of July, being the 250th anniversary of America this year, seemed like a really rich tapestry to play with.”
In addition to starring in, executive producing for, and writing for the show, Wyle also directs an episode of Season 2.
“Moving forward, I would love to do more," he explained. "I think it’s sort of an asset being a player-coach when you’re there, and you’re that familiar with the cast and crew and the set, the scripts, having been in the writing room.”
The Season 2 premiere of The Pitt is available to stream on Thursday, Jan. 8, at 9 p.m. ET on HBO Max, with new episodes dropping weekly on Thursdays.
