After an exhaustive, global search, Disney has finally found its Rapunzel! Teagan Croft will star alongside Milo Manheim (Zombies, School Spirits) in the upcoming live-action reimagining of Tangled. The 21-year-old already has an impressive resumé that includes stage and screen work. From starring as Scout Finch in an Australian stage production of To Kill a Mockingbird to her 5-year run as Rachel/Raven on HBO Max's Titans—and now, she'll embark on a life-changing journey as she gears up to begin production on Disney's Tangled.
Disney announced the news via its Instagram by posting headshots of both Croft and Manheim with the simple caption, "Teagan Croft and Milo Manheim are Rapunzel and Flynn Rider in the live-action reimagining of Disney’s Tangled. Coming only to theaters." Tangled will be helmed by Michael Gracey, who also directed 2017's beloved movie-musical, The Greatest Showman.
