Robert Irwin Shares His DWTS Mirrorball Trophy in Video Fans Cant Get Enough Of

Robert Irwin is sharing his Dancing With the Starswin with some special friends in Australia.

On Jan. 8, the 22-year-old conservationist shared a video on Instagram, where he celebrated his mirrorball trophy with some of his animal friends at the Australia Zoo. In the adorable video, Robert showed off the trophy to a Koala, a cockatoo, and a snake, allowing the animals to inspect it.

    "The mirrorball has made it home," Robert wrote in his caption. "[I] had to show my friends what I’ve been up to ??."

    In the video, Robert also posed with his sister, Bindi Irwin, who held up her own mirrorball trophy that she won during her season of Dancing With the Stars in 2015. Robert's niece, Grace, also made an appearance with the trophies and checked them out with her mom. Bindi also pointed at each trophy and told her, "This is Uncle Robert's mirrorball, and this is Mama's mirrorball."

    Robert's fellow Dancing With the Stars contestant, Alix Earle, commented, "This is amazing," on the video, while Dylan Efron couldn't help but ask him, "How is the wombat with the broken collarbone doing?"

    Fans also couldn't get enough of the sweet video, with one fan commenting that "This [video] makes me wonder if all the animals had weekly watch parties as they cheered you on, too ?."

    "Sibling trophies is insane," another fan added. "Congratulations to you both. Couldn’t have happened to better people!"

    Robert Irwin's return to the Australia Zoo

    In a TikTok posted on Jan. 7, Robert confirmed that he would be returning to the Australia Zoo with the crocodiles for the upcoming “school holiday" season, starting on Jan. 8.

    “It’s gonna be my first time feeding a crocodile in about five months," he revealed in the video. "What could possibly go wrong?” The video also included some older clips of the son of the famous crocodile hunter, Steve Irwin, feeding the crocodiles with AC/DC’s “Back in Black" played in the background.

    He then joked that they better "keep the cameras rolling" when he makes his return and added in his caption that he "can't wait to be back."

    The announcement marks the first time Robert has returned to the zoo since winning Dancing With the Stars with his professional dance partner, Witney Carson, in November 2025.

    Fans in the comments congratulated Robert on his long-awaited return to the zoo after a long absence. One fan even suggested that he could “Use those fancy dance moves to move fast [to] stay safe” while feeding the crocodiles.
