One of the most successful rock and metal bands of all time is planning a major return to the stage in 2026.
Fresh off bringing their enduring music to stages across Europe throughout 2025 as part of their "Coming Home" tour, the Scorpions are set to return to India for the first time since 2008.

BookMyShow Live, the company producing and promoting the show in India, took to social media to reveal that the icons are "bringing six decades of thunder, distortion, and no mercy riffs."
The German rock band—known for era-defining songs like “Rock You Like a Hurricane,” “Still Loving You,” and “Wind of Change”—will bring their "metal storm" to four cities: Shillong (JN Stadium) on April 21, Delhi NCR (HUDA Grounds) on April 24, Bengaluru (NICE Grounds) on April 26, and Mumbai (Jio Gardens) on April 30.
The pre-sale kicks off Jan. 15, 2026, with a general sale starting on Jan. 17.
"This isn’t just nostalgia, it’s Scorpions Coming Home!" the announcement continued.
The band members are just as excited about returning to India after nearly 20 years as the fans, who can’t wait to see them perform live.
Lead vocalist and frontman Klaus Meine revealed his eagerness to reconnect with fans in India, writing in a release shared by The Times of India, "We are incredibly excited to finally be touring India again after such a long time and are looking forward to meeting our many, many fans in India. The concerts will also be a very special experience for us.”
Guitarist and founder Rudolf Schenker said, “Sixty years after the band's founding, we're bringing our 'Coming Home' concert to India. It will be a unique celebration for our fans and for us.”
Lead guitarist MatthiasJabs also expressed his excitement, stating, “Finally playing in India again, and on top of that our now iconic Coming Home concerts, will be spectacular and unforgettable for us as well."
In addition to Meine, Scheneker and Jabs, the band's lineup also includes bassist Paweł Maciwoda and drummer Mikkey Dee.

While the band, formed in 1965, has acknowledged they can't tour forever, they've been going strong with six decades of experience and 19 studio albums, including their career-spanning compilation called From the First Sting, which featured a few unreleased tracks to celebrate the band’s 60th anniversary, and their last original studio album, Rock Believer, released in 2022.
With decades of hits and a legendary reputation, the Scorpions’ return to India promises to be a historic celebration for fans and the band alike.
