Beyond the Gates fan-favorite Mike Manning (Smitty) has some good news for fans after a frustrating beginning to the New Year.
Episodes of Beyond the Gates drop on the streamer every night, so those who can’t watch during the day can keep up with what’s happening in Fairmont Crest. However, when the soap started airing Season 2, Season 1 disappeared from Paramount+, and fans were furious.

As Parade reported, Beyond the Gates star Sean Freeman addressed the issue, and now Manning has confirmed Season 1 is back on the streamer.
“Hey #BeyondTheGates fans, Season 1 should now be back on @paramountplus. As a brand new show, we know how important it is to make episodes accessible to as many as we can. Thanks for sticking w/ us! ? #BTG,” the actor wrote on X.

— Mike Manning (@mike_manning_) January 6, 2026Fans were thrilled at the news and let Manning know how happy they were that Beyond the Gates Season 1 is back on Paramount+.
“OH - they are back!!! Best news all day!!” wrote a fan. Another fan shared, “Omg THANK YOU!!!! ? This is the best news. I’m on episode 165 and planned to catch up this week! They should always have all the episodes available. ❤️ #BeyondTheGates.”
One fan declared, “Thank you Mike and the #BeyondTheGates family for making this happen! ❤️?.” Another added, “Thanks to all of you for working so hard to get the episodes back up streaming.”
“You know what, I appreciate you updating us on that because I went back to catch the 01/01 and it wasn’t there. Thank you, Sir. ♥️,” stated a different fan.
A fan spilled, “Thank you to the cast too for hearing fans’ complaints!! ❤️?.”

That wasn't the only good news Manning had for Beyond the Gates fans: When a fan asked when a Smitty-centric storyline was going to happen, the actor replied, “I think you’ll be pleased very soon ?.”
The reason Season 1 of Beyond the Gates was removed from Paramount+ was simply due to the streamer’s standard practice for soap operas. Both The Young and the Restless and The Bold and the Beautifulonly have episodes from the current season airing on the streamer.
For now, Beyond the Gates Season 1 and 2 are streaming on Paramount+, but it’s unclear how long that will last.
Beyond the Gates airs weekdays on CBS.
