Gordon Ramsay was definitely a proud dad at his daughter Holly Ramsay's wedding to Olympic swimmer Adam Peaty.
In a joint interview on the U.K. talk show This Morning on Jan. 5, the celebrity chef, 59, and his younger daughter Matilda "Tilly" Ramsey, 24, opened up about the wedding and the speech that "made everybody cry."
"It's tough, honestly," Gordon said about getting his father-of-the-bride speech just right. "I mean, being a dad with three daughters, you dream of that moment. That moment arrives, and you're just like a hot mess. [But] the speech was perfect. It went well. You got to find that sort of [balance] — you've got to be warm, emotional ... It was just a tough gig."
Tilly also confirmed that the speech was "perfect" and revealed that she even helped her dad rehearse on Christmas Eve, adding that "no tweaks were needed."
On Jan. 2, British Vogue revealed that Holly wore her mother, Tana Ramsay's, wedding dress during her first dance and said that she "always loved the idea of bringing in mum’s dress at some point.”

The Hell's Kitchen star also spoke about seeing Holly wearing his wife's wedding dress and said it was "a bit of a shock" to see his daughter walk out in it. He also confirmed that she didn't wear the dress the whole night and joked that he didn't know "why you need to change three times" during the event.
Tilly laughed at his comment and added that she would also "love to" wear her mom's wedding dress when she gets married.
When did Holly Ramsay and Adam Peaty get married?
The couple officially tied the knot on Dec. 27 in a ceremony at The Abbey Church of Saint Peter and Saint Paul in Bath, England.
Ahead of the wedding, Holly told British Vogue that her dad "cries every time I talk about the wedding,” especially since she's the first of her six siblings to walk down the aisle. She recalled that he "welled up immediately” when she asked him "which car he and I would take to the church."
On the big day, the Masterchef star shared some sweet photos with Holly on Instagram, accompanied by a sentimental caption about the wedding.

Tilly also shared in the interview on This Morning that seeing her sister and Adam getting married was also an incredible experience for her and the family as well.
It was so emotional, you know, to see her and Adam so happy," she remembered and noted that it was "a big day for all of us."
