Jodie Foster made a hilarious mix up during her most recent appearance on the Today Show.
Foster, 63, appeared on the morning program to discuss her latest film, A Private Life, which marks her first all-French leading role. In the film, she plays a French psychiatrist diligently investigating the death of a patient, and the project put both her acting and French skills to the test.

"It's a stupid network, Jodie!" Melvin exclaimed, "It was going so well."
Rather than getting flustered, Foster immediately laughed it off, acknowledging the mistake and keeping the conversation moving. She gently requested that NBC cut her mix up from the interview. Melvin reminded her that they were live, so all that was left to do was apologize. The moment passed quickly, with the actress smiling and joking as the interview continued without interruption.
