Kaden Strayhorn, who signed with the Wolverines out of the class of 2025, has pledged to the Crimson Tide. He revealed the news to On3’s Hayes Fawcett on Tuesday evening.
Strayhorn, who played his high school football at IMG Academy, saw limited time on the field for Michigan in 2025 as he played in just two games against Central Michigan and Texas.
Strayhorn then entered the transfer portal when it opened on Jan. 2. On Monday, he took an official visit to Alabama, leading to his commitment to Kalen DeBoer‘s program on Tuesday.

With Strayhorn’s commitment, Alabama now has four players in the fold this transfer cycle. Strayhorn marks the Crimson Tide’s second pledge of the day as former Virginia Tech lineman Caleb Woodson committed on Tuesday afternoon.
On Monday, former Oklahoma running back Hollywood Smothers, the No. 2-rated RB in the portal, committed to the Tide. And in December, former tight end Josh Ford signed with the program after three seasons at Oklahoma State.
