Reese Witherspoon has officially unveiled the January pick for Reese's Book Club, but she couldn't do it without a little help from Jennifer Garner.
In a new Instagram video on Tuesday, Jan. 6, Witherspoon was on a FaceTime call with Garner when they jointly announced this month's Reese's Book Club pick: The First Time I Saw Him by Laura Dave.

The new book, which officially hit bookshelves on Tuesday, is the highly-anticipated sequel to Dave's 2021 novel, The Last Thing He Told Me, which stars Garner in the TV adaptation. (Witherspoon is an executive producer on the Apple TV+ mini series.)
So, who better to announce the news than Witherspoon and Garner themselves?
In the playful new Instagram clip, the two actresses are on a FaceTime for a "little post-holiday catch up" when they both hold up the book they are currently reading, and it happens to be Dave's newest novel, The First Time I Saw Him.

"I can't believe it!" Garner, 53, chimes in.
"It is so good!" Witherspoon teased about the new novel, while Garner said "every single review is out of this world, and I'm gonna add mine. Five stars!"
"Could not stop flipping the pages!" Witherspoon added, while officially announcing the book as her January book club pick. "I think people are gonna love to have this in their book club."
She also told Garner, "You were so amazing in the series," while complimenting her on-screen chemistry with the actress who plays her daughter in the series, Angourie Rice.
And fans have even more to look forward to than a brand-new book to read, because The Last Thing He Told Me Season 2 premieres next month on Feb. 20.
