ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Crews worked to repair a water main break on Stutson Street off Lake Avenue on Tuesday in the Charlotte neighborhood.
News10NBC’s photojournalist saw crews shut down the water main, block off part of the road, and drain water from the area. The break now appears to be under control. We’ve reached out to the City of Rochester to see if the break has been fixed, what caused it, and if anything has been damaged. Check back for updates.
This break comes nearly a month after a water main break on Exchange Boulevard that didn’t impact any buildings. A month before then, there was a water main break on a water main break on Culver Road and Meredith Street that flooded at least 10 basements and caused other damage to homes.
