When asked what he would say if Barbara Broccoli, who controlled the Bond franchise before being sold to Jeff Bezos, called him to create the new theme song, Gallagher put himself out there.
"I’d say, 'Alright Babs,'" he said. "Of course, it would be an absolute honor. I think those kinds of things should be done by Brits and not Yanks."
He also jokes that he may be eyeing a character role, saying, "I'll play a villain, I'll play a Mancunian villain!"
While Oasis has never officially been credited with a James Bond song, Gallagher admits they have written some before that never led to anything. Rumors also started circulating when his brother Liam teased fans, saying they had a new project in the works that would be the "best BOND tune ever."
As of now, Oasis has never been commissioned to create an original theme song for a movie. Their released songs have been used in movies like The Faculty, The Butterfly Effect, Snatch, and American Pie.
Bond 26 is still under wraps, with production still looking for their next 007 agent.
