CANANDAIGUA, N.Y. — A man is facing charges after Ontario County Sheriff’s deputies say he sexually abused and attacked a person early Tuesday morning.
According to deputies, a woman had called 911 from a community phone at around 5:30 a.m. Tuesday in Canandaigua.
Deputies say it is believed Rodolfo Jimenez-Tema used physical force on the victim and stole her phone as she tried to call 911. Jimenez-Tema was later found at his home by deputies with assistance from the Geneva Police Department.
Jimenez-Tema was arrested and brought to the Ontario County Jail. He was charged with aggravated sexual abuse, robbery, assault, criminal mischief, and criminal obstruction of breathing.
The victim was brought to a nearby hospital to be treated for her injuries.
