Damascus, Jan. 5 (SANA) The Turkish ambassador to Damascus Nuh Yilmaz said relations between Turkey and Syria are advancing across all sectors, pointing to growing trade between the two neighbors.
Yilmaz said Turkish exports to Syria reached $2.3 billion in 2025, according to data from the Turkish Exporters Assembly.
He noted that grains and pulses made up the largest share of exports, followed by chemical products, including construction materials and pharmaceuticals, adding that the exports largely meet basic needs.
