Cairo, Jan. 5 (SANA) Syria and Egypt have signed two memoranda of understanding aimed at boosting cooperation in gas, energy and petroleum products.
The agreements include plans to supply natural gas to Syria via Egypt to help generate electricity, as well as arrangements to provide petroleum products and exchange technical expertise.
The deals were signed during talks in Cairo between Syrian and Egyptian energy officials and reflect efforts to deepen bilateral cooperation.
