Transfer portal movements surrounding the LSU program have been closely monitored since players were able to officially enter Friday, as Lane Kiffin and his new staff are hard at work to build a 2026 squad that can produce immediate results.

Per On3’s Hayes Fawcett’s reporting, former Stanford and Hawai’i receiver Jackson Harris announced his commitment to join the Bayou Bengals.

But within Timmy Chang’s air raid offense in 2025, Harris thrived. The rangy wide out racked up a team-high 963 receiving yards and 12 touchdowns on just 49 catches, meaning that he averaged just under 20 yards per reception.
Harris notably found his rhythm down the stretch, as he eclipsed the 100-yard mark in six of the final seven games he played for the Rainbow Warriors. The sophomore sat out Hawaii’s 35-31 comeback win over California in the Hawaii Bowl on Christmas Eve.
Kiffin figures to utilize Harris as a dynamic downfield threat much like the role he played on the islands, and it remains to be seen what other receivers Kiffin will opt to pair with his new addition.
