McGegan, who led the Philharmonia Baroque for 35 years, will conduct a Jan. 29 concert for Philharmonia’s Jews & Music series at the Oshman Family Jewish Community Center in Palo Alto. “Jewish Nightlife” starts at 7:30 p.m. and will highlight Baroque works by Rossi and Boccherini, as well as Syrian and Moroccan songs.

    McGegan will also conduct “Baroque Garlands” at Stanford’s Bing Concert Hall on Sunday, Feb. 8, at 1 p.m. The program includes the world premiere of a new edition of the 1763 version of Rameau’s “La Guirlande.”

    Tickets are $40-$135 for “Baroque Garlands” and $40 for “Jewish Nightlife” at Philharmonia.org.

    The Santa Clara Valley Open Space Authority will present an update on the progress of its Agricultural Strategic Plan during a Jan. 20 webinar hosted by the Morgan Hill Chamber of Commerce.
