Lattakia, Jan. 4 (SANA) The aid campaign, “Until the Last Tent 2: Victory Completed,” continued raising donations in support of displaced families living in camps in northern Syria and to facilitate their return home.
Organizer Atef Nanoua said the campaign aims to raise around $4,000 to cover the costs of repairing and rehabilitating damaged houses. He noted that the assistance goes beyond winter relief to include basic home restoration, which will enable more families to leave the camps.
Participants stressed the importance of collective community support to ease the suffering of displaced families and help them return home.
The humanitarian situation in camps across Idleb and northern Syria has worsened in recent days due to a severe weather bringing heavy rainfall, snowfall, and strong winds. This has caused flooding and damage to numerous tents and temporary shelters.
