With 2025 in the rear-view, new music is on the horizon, and several country artists have already announced album release dates. Stars like Ella Langley, Luke Combs, Riley Green, and Ernest have hinted at having full-length projects in the works, while other artists like Eric Church and Megan Moroney spent the last half of 2025 promoting their upcoming records.
Needless to say, 2026 will be stacked with tracks that will have folks far and wide waiting to see their favorite country stars live. In the meantime, here are five highly anticipated country albums confirmed for 2026 that’ll make the new year go down as another one to remember.
Zach Bryan — With Heaven On Top (Jan. 9)
Zach Bryan may have just tied the knot with Samantha Leonard after a whirlwind romance, but that doesn’t mean he is putting the pause on his music career. The controversial singer/songwriter is kicking off 2026 with the release of With Heaven On Top, due out Jan. 9.
Not much has been said about the forthcoming project, despite Bryan having teased the album as an EP in early 2025. Now, being promoted as a full-length LP, With Heaven On Top is complete. Bryan confirmed on Dec. 9 via an Instagram post that he was finishing up the recording process with “five more days” left to go.
“January 9th!!!!” He teased in a separate Instagram post, sharing the album cover art, which features Bryan in a wooded setting with a chocolate Labrador by his side.

Southern crooner Kashus Culpepper will make a big statement in 2026 with the release of his debut album entitled Act I. Loaded with 18 tracks, this collection features a variety of instruments ranging from banjo and pedal steel to cello and harp, but Culpepper’s gravel vocals stand out over the harmonious blend of sounds on the project.
Recorded in Muscle Shoals, Alabama, and produced by Brian Elmquist, Act I not only showcases Culpepper’s undeniable sound as a talented artist but also his power behind the pen as he has co-written every track on the album.
Fans can look for two collaborations upon its release. They are “Broken Wing Bird” with Sierra Ferrell and “Southern Man” with Marcus King. After breaking out with his single, “After Me?” Culpepper gave folks a glimpse of Act 1 with “Mean To Me,” penned with Oscar Charles, Diego Urias, and Matt Warren.
“Creating music has been the greatest joy of my life,” Culpepper shared via a press release of his upcoming debut. “What a magical thing it is. My debut album, Act I, serves as the beginning of that journey.”
Eric Church — Evangeline vs. The Machine: Comes Alive (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) (Feb. 13)
One day before Valentine’s Day, Eric Church will drop his new 19-track album, Evangeline vs. The Machine: Comes Alive (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack), but the collection doesn’t have anything to do with the lovers' holiday. Partnering with IMAX, this album coincides with the release of a feature film concert event.
Recorded live during two sold-out shows at The Pinnacle in Nashville, Tenn., Church brings his songs to life in a one-of-a-kind cinema experience, directed by Reid Long and executive produced by Barak Moffitt, Andrea Dunn, Mike Harris, Rob Femia, and John Peets. The concert event features Church singing his songs while accompanied by a full band and four-piece horn section, as well as a string section, a full choir, and contributing vocals from Joanna Cotten.
In addition to entertaining viewers with tracks from his 8th studio album, folks can look for a reimagining of fan favorites like “Creepin’,” “Springsteen,” “Homeboy,” “Give Me Back My Hometown,” “Smoke A Little Smoke,” and more.
Church’s Evangeline vs. The Machine: Comes Alive will debut exclusively in IMAX theaters across the U.S. and Canada beginning Friday, Feb. 13, 2026.
After making her mark with previous albums like Lucky and Am I Okay? And introducing two different sides of her personality through visual green and blue color-themes, respectively, Megan Moroney ushers in her signature pink era of music with her next body of work called Cloud 9.
The female country powerhouse has already set the scene for the album, giving listeners preview tracks like “Beautiful Things” and “6 Months Later.” She also announced a tour dubbed the Cloud 9 Tour to go along with her forthcoming release, which kicks off in May.
“I am so excited for my fans and I to dive into this new world of Cloud 9 together,” Moroney shared in a press release.“Similar to the first two albums, it’s all written about honest, personal experiences, but these songs were written by the strongest, most confident version of myself I’ve ever been. My feet feel firmly planted in my artistry, and it was fun to play around sonically, while still sticking to my roots of what my fans and I love. Cloud 9 is a state of mind, and I have no doubt this will be the best chapter yet.”
Jason Aldean — Songs About Us (April 24)
Jason Aldean is preparing for a busy 2026 as his next project will contain the most songs on an album that he’s ever released. Titled Songs About Us, and produced by Michael Knox, the project will contain 20 tracks. Aldean has already shared a few of the songs from the collection, including his No. 1 smash “How Far Does A Goodbye Go” and previously released cuts, “Help You Remember,” “Hard To Love You,” and “Lovin’ Me Too Long.”
One major highlight on the album is Aldean’s collaboration with his wife, Brittany Aldean, on “Easier Gone,” marking their first featured duet. Other collaborations include a feature of Luke Bryan on the title track, “Songs About Us,” and guest vocals from David Lee Murphy on his timeless hit “Dust on the Bottle.”
Meanwhile, another song, “Help You Remember,” is inspired by Aldean’s personal experience with a family member who struggled with dementia.
“It means the world when one of my songs helps someone through a hard time – or celebrates their best moments,” Aldean shared in a statement. “This album is about all of that – the highs, the lows, and everything in between. Every track started with a real story or feeling, and together we turned those experiences into music. In the end, I realized this album is about all of us. These are songs about us.”
