The Greeley Ice Haus will host its annual American Girl Doll Skate event next weekend.
The event will run from noon to 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 10, according to a city of Greeley news release.
This year’s beach theme commemorates the 2026 American Girl Doll of the Year, Raquel Reyes, who “focuses on the love of family and finding your place in the world,” the release states.
“We’re so thrilled to offer this special event again this year,” Ice Haus supervisor Carla Villavicencio said in the release. “We’ve been doing this event for many years, and it’s one of the most cherished activities we host. It’s so special to see girls come together and bond with each other and try ice skating. For some, it’s often the first time they’ve been on skates. And for others it’s a cherished event they look forward to each year.”
The popular annual event allows girls to try ice skating and enjoy themed activities with their friends and favorite dolls. A group lesson will be provided, and girls are encouraged to bring their favorite doll.
Attendees can enter a drawing for a Raquel Reyes doll and accessories, according to the release. A photo booth will also be on-site to capture memories from the day.
