GATES, N.Y. — Crews battled a fire they say was inside the wall of a home on Lettington Avenue in Gates Thursday evening.
The Gates Fire District says crews were dispatched to Lettington at around 5:35 p.m. Thursday for a report of a wall on fire due to the fireplace.
Crews quickly got there, and were able to put out the fire within 15 minutes. News10NBC is working to learn if anyone was hurt during the fire. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
