A former reality television contestant, and beloved celebrity makeup artist, has died. Jasen Kaplan, who competed on the sole season of Finding Prince Charming, was 46.

Finding Prince Charming aired in 2016 on Logo. The short-lived series was hosted by Lance Bass and featured gay men all competing for the love of one main bachelor, Robert Sepulveda Jr.
Kaplan did not last long on the show, as he was eliminated in the second week. Shockingly, Kaplan is the second contestant from Finding Prince Charming to die in the last few weeks.
Fellow Finding Prince Charming alum Chad Spodick died in early December by suicide.
Spodick didn't remain in entertainment after his stint on Finding Prince Charming. Kaplan, however, did.
TMZ noted that Kaplan worked as a makeup artist with numerous celebrities, including Kelly Osbourne,Bethenny Frankel, and Gastineau Girls stars Lisa and Brittny Gastineau.
Lisa Gastineau told TMZ, "I am heartbroken and shocked. I have had some of my favorite memories with Jasen. He was part of our family. It's so difficult to wrap my head around this tragedy."
In an Instagram Story posted on January 1, Osbourne shared a quartet of photos showing her with Kaplan. She wrote, "I'm devastated I love you so much @jasenkaplan thank you for all the love, laughter and joy you brought my life. I hope you are at peace now. Life will never be the same without you! Rip my dear friend!"

Another photo showing Osbourne with Kaplan was captioned, "You were the best Wing man a girl could ask for. 25 years of friendship and every second was worth it!"
Osbourne even shared an old video showing Kaplan dressed up as her, purple hair and all. She wrote, "No one was as funny as you!"
According to Us Weekly, Kaplan also worked with Cyndi Lauper, Lynda Carter, Eva Longoria, and Tinsley Mortimer, among others. In September, he worked with Frankel and her daughter, Bryn, for multiple events.
Former Danity Kane singer and reality television alum Aubrey O'Day also took to her Instagram Stories to mourn Kaplan's death. She wrote, "Last night, I lost my GHUB of 20 years. He passed away tragically, and none of us who loved him have even begun to process this loss."
O'Day shared several videos featuring Kaplan to "honor who he was, the love he gave, and the space he will always hold in our lives."
She added, "Please check on your strong friends. I'm learning that sometimes they're the ones who need you the most."
Not long before Kaplan's death, he shared a heated video on his Instagram page. He was upset with The Real Housewives of New Jersey alum Jackie Goldschneider, whom he said had called him antisemetic. That post was shared on December 17.
