American Pickers star Danielle Colby celebrated "new beginnings" after announcing she was "done" with the History Channel series.
On Thursday, Jan. 1, Colby, 50, took to Instagram with a video recapping her starting her own business, a museum dedicated to the history of stripping called the Ecdysiast Arts Museum. The reality TV star opened the business venture in mid-2024 in Davenport, Iowa.

"I’m in love with my family (blood and chosen family) and community here in the Quad Cities. Thank you to everyone who has supported us on this journey, " Colby captioned her update. "Thank you to each person to pick up a paint brush, clean a floor, lift a heavy box or just show love and support through these trying times. You are seen and appreciated!"
After noting that the accompanying video was originally "much longer," she promised to share more videos with highlights from 2025 as the museum celebrates six months of being open.
"Here’s to new beginnings!" she concluded.
In the video, Colby included a clip of her giving followers a tour of the building as well as renovating the space, hosting events and more.

On Dec. 3, Mike Wolfe's American Pickers costar claimed the show was "done." A lengthy Instagram video featured Colby speaking about turning 50 and opening her own business before telling followers, “And I just found out that American Pickers is done.”
Colby returned to Instagram on Dec. 5 to offer a clarification. “Mike called me yesterday. It was one of those things that he reminded me we’re never over,” she explained. “Things are always still happening. Things are always still going. My perspective was more from a paycheck standpoint.”
