Jamestown, CA – A Jamestown man was arrest after blowing through a stop sign and then running from a deputy. Tuolumne County Sheriff’s officials recount that 21-year-old Addam Smith of Jamestown committed the traffic violation around midnight right in front of a deputy recently patrolling the 18000 block of Main Street in Jamestown. The deputy turned on his emergency lights and gave pursuit. At a nearby apartment complex, Smith jumped out of the vehicle and then ran into an apartment. A short time later, Smith exited the unit and found the deputy waiting for him. A record check determined his license was suspended.
