Bills legend Jim Kelly honors Golisano team who provided comfort during grandson’s health battle

Hall of Fame Quarterback Jim Kelly was in Rochester in November to thank the team at Golisano Children’s Hospital that helped to save the life of his newborn grandson.

The Bills legend beat cancer himself four times but his sole focus over the last few months has been on the health of his newborn grandson Beau. While the doctors and nurses at GCH cared for Beau, there was one man who cared for Jim, his wife Jill, and their daughter and son-in-law. Fans spring into action to save man’s life at Bills game

Two Buffalo Bills fans had more to celebrate than just a win against the Miami Dolphins during a Thursday night game in September. Brian Dodge experienced a life-threatening situation where his heart stopped in the stands. A nurse in the stands quickly performed CPR, saving Brian Dodge’s life. He is now feeling fine with a brand new pacemaker.

Bills fans travel from Mexico for game, bringing piece of culture with them

People’s love for the Bills extends far beyond Western New York. News10NBC happened to run into some Bills fans at the Rochester airport who traveled to a home game all the way from Mexico.

They brought part of their Mexican culture to the game, wearing Luchador masks, a tribute to traditional Mexican wrestlers. One of the fans, Miguel Chavez, has been traveling to Bills games for about five years, including to Los Angeles, Los Vegas, and Phoenix. Last year, for the first time, he traveled with his wife to Buffalo for a game. This year, he brought a bigger group. See the full story here.

Artist creating scale model of Highmark Stadium out of toothpicks

A local artist, Stan Munro, is creating a scale model of the current Highmark Stadium out of toothpicks at Eastview Mall. He made it to display at “Toothpick World” in the Lord and Taylor wing of Eastview Mall. News10NBC went to check out the progress, which you can watch below:
