ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Netflix’s “Stranger Things” has come to an end after five seasons. While some people will be watching the finale at home, over 500 theaters across the country are screening the final episode, including Tinseltown theater in Gates.
The screenings began on New Year’s Eve and continue on New Year’s Day. News10NBC went out to Tinseltown on New Year’s Eve to get spoiler-free reactions from fans. Two fans, Abella Goodness-Wise and Ava Countryman, said “Stranger Things” has become part of their childhood, watching it since fourth grade together.
“Not to sound dramatic, but I was crying a lot, so there’s that. It was really good” one said.
